Zar Industrial Group comprising Zar Karaj Flour
Co., Zar Macaron Co., and Nooshin Saz Co. started their activities by
establishment of Zar Karaj Flour Co. in 1993 and Zar Karaj Flour Plant
in 1998. Producing special flour of Macaroni i.e. Semolina as the first
Iranian plant, this plant could establish Zar Macaron Co. in 2003 that
started its activity in 2005. Using the state-of-the-art European
machineries, they gathered full scope of food industry appropriately to
supply a high-quality, natural product.
Wheat,
rich in vitamin B, is considered as the most nutritious foodstuffs.
Wheat is transported to silos and flour plants after going through
planting, cultivation, and harvest stages. After cleaning, wheat is
ground in the mill to be changed into flour.
All
sections are controlled in control room by PLC and without direct
manpower intervention to control production on a smart basis.
Different food industries need special flour proportionate to their
production. Two of three types of flour produced in Iran during last
years are used in producing various types of bread and one has
industrial use to produce cake, cookie, and the like. Noul flour has
been used in Iran so far due to lack of macaroni special flour i.e.
semolina. Since carrying out uncompetitive, most efficient projects has
been always objective of management of Zar Industrial Group and to
improve quality of macaroni industry, Zar Karaj Flour Plant established
semolina flour production line in Iran in 2002 for the first time and
put it into operation by domestic and foreign experts using machineries
of Boler Co. in January 2004. To produce required wheat for the crop
year, construction project of wheat silo with capacity of 150,000,000
ton was carried out and the first phase was put into operation.
Having
desirable raw material i.e. semolina, Zar Industrial Group intended to
establish Zar Macaron Plant in line with its long-term objectives in
2003. Therefore, Zar Flour Plant started its activity in 2005 using the
state-of-the-art machineries and prominent domestic and international
experts. This unique plant is capable of producing various types of
macaroni with different flavor and shapes.
All
processes are performed automatically. Flour is transferred
pneumatically to flour silos. Flour is sieved by special sieves to
control its health and graining. Flour is transferred to macaroni
production section pneumatically where double mixers mix flour and water
and then flour is processed in vacuum to avoid negative impacts of
oxygen and entered special extruders.
There
is a special mold at the end of extruder for shaping flour. Then drying
starts. Macaroni is first enters pre-drier and then enters main drier.
After completion of drying operations, macaroni is exited the silo
automatically in order to be packaged in special plastic cover.
It is
worth mentioning that the whole operations are controlled by PLC
electric boards. Production line is continuously controlled by
controller and sensors installed in different parts of production line
and according to the diagram defined in PLC. Thus it can be claimed that
all products are consistently controlled by such equipment. Quality
Control Unit controls all stages including delivery of flour, production
of macaroni, packaging, storage, workplace and machinery health, and
customer service in order to assure high quality product.
In
addition to receiving the Iranian National Standard, Zar Industrial
Group Plants have received international certificate of ISO, HACCP, ISO
9001:2000, 22000 and Research and Development Certificate for the
purpose of quality assurance.
